THE IDEA of Alumni - An Old Students' Association fills every student with excitement and enthusiasm. The concept of Alumni in Modern Public School was given a Spark by Nimesh Sharma (2004 Batch) and was very enthusiastically followed up by Rumit Maini (2002 Batch). Initially, giving a concrete shape to this idea appeared to be a little difficult, but with the selfless support from Madam Principal, Ms. Indira Bali, Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, Ms. Rachna Goel, Mr. Alok Jagwayan and Ms. Shweta Kapur (Both 1999 Batch), they got fully charged to convert their ideas into action. To begin with, the formation of the Alumni Association was given publicity through word of mouth, SMS and phone calls. The response was overwhelming.

Our Mission

Providing counselling for the ongoing Class 12 batch.
Guiding them to choose and streamline their career.
Establishing various cultural societies in the school.
Awarding scholarships to the meritorious students in various academic and co-curricular activities.

III. To work for the society by organizing various community outreach programs.

IV. To provide platform for the interaction among members of the Alumni Association.

Future Activities to be undertaken by the Association

1. Inviting Professional Career Counselors for the school students.
2. Coming up with an annual "Alumni Directory".
3. Bringing out a bi-annual newsletter elucidating the achievements and year round information about this association.
4. Electing Batch representatives as members of the Executive Council.
5. Establishing Social Clubs for contributing productively towards the social causes like AIDS.
6. Organizing Blood Donation Camps.
7. Organizing annual Alumni Meet every year.
8. Developing a website for online interaction among Students and Alumni .
9. Organizing outdoor trips, sports matches and cultural events for and between the alumni and the students.
10. Creating the constitution to govern the functioning and working of Alumni Association.
