The school gives information, inculcates ideas and develops creative thinking and imagination so as students live as ideal and responsible citizens. Our school library has variety of dailies, weeklies and educational and other journals prescribe for the students as well as for the teachers. Students use it for reading materials and to get the information and to guide them to use books, reference books and other material tools of the library. To inculcate the reading habit among the students and to make them aware about our school library which hold discussions, stories sessions and to motivate the students to consult dictionary to increase the vocabulary etc. now we are automating our library so that there should be efficiency in speed and operation and students get the list of books in order of Author, Subject, Publisher, Title etc. along with the latest arrival reports. At present, the total collections of books in our School Library are 28296
Students are required to follow the following LIBRARY RULES
- Students are allowed to borrow only one book at a time and retain it for the period
prescribed. Those who do not return the book in time will be fined Rs.2.00 per day
per book.
- Marking, underlining or annotating in the library books is strictly forbidden.
- Borrowers are required to examine the books at the time of borrowing and report to
the librarian about the damage, loss of page or picture etc.
- Books lost, damaged or wrongly handled will have to be paid for or replaced. The
discretion of the Principal in this matter shall be final and binding.
