Note to Parents
In order to uphold the discipline prescribed by the school, the parents are
requested to ensure that their ward:
- Arrives at the school on time as latecomers will be detained at the gate. After two late arrivals, a student may be sent back home.
- Is dressed in clean, well-ironed uniform as prescribed by the school with proper haircut.
- Does not wear gold ornaments and jewellery to school.
- Dose not apply Mehandi on any occasion.
- Does not carry a mobile phone to school.
- Does not bring any undesirable item to school.
- Completes homework / assignment / project work as assigned by the school on time and neatly as these carry marks.
- Appears for all tests as per the schedule given to them. Parents should not send their ward to school to appear in the test if he / she is unwell, as it would not be
possible to permit the student to go home after the test.
The parents are also required to take note of the following points.
- Parent-Teacher interactions are held on a regular basis
- Ear piercing is not allowed to the boys.
- Comprehensive information is provided to parents on the progress being made by their wards.
- Each classroom of the school is equipped with smart class equipment. In case of any damage to the equipment, the entire expenditure would have to be borne by
the student(s).
- Parents are advised to use the space provided in the almanac for any communication with the teachers.
- Please monitor the Internet sites being visited by your ward and limit the TV viewing to appropriate programmes.
- Please inform the school about any change of residence / telephone number to facilitate contact.
- Please avoid criticizing the school or the teachers in front of your ward. In case of any feedback, please contact the Class representative / Principal who will be happy
to help you.
- School will not be responsible for loss of books, money and other valuables brought by students to the school. However, every effort will be made to recover the things
lost, if reported to the class teacher or the Principal immediately.
- To get the best from the school for your child, you are advised to maintain close contact with the school.
- Please cooperate with the school by paying attention to your ward’s regularity, punctuality, neat turn out and discipline and by taking interest in his/her work.
- Send lunch packet, fruits and suffcient water regularly to School alongwith your child in the morning. In case of small children, please send an apron and a napkin
also.
- Do check the bag of your ward for any circular, worksheet, invitation or homework given in the almanac. Remarks put down in the almanac should be seen and
countersigned regularly.
- Any communication made by you should be addressed to the Principal and not to the Class Teacher. Mention your child’s name, address, phone number, admission
number, class and section, clearly on it.
- Please make a foolproof arrangement for picking up of small children at bus stops.
- The child will be taken back to school if there is no one to pick him / her up at the stop.
- Pick up and drop facility cannot be extended to points where lanes are narrow and congested.
- As the medium of instruction in the school is English, students should be helped to follow their work easily and intelligently by a certain amount of regular conversation in English at home.
- Please read and explain the school rules to your ward.
- Parents and guardians must not visit their wards or teachers during school hours without the prior appointment of the Principal.
Healthy Advice
It is of utmost importance to impart health education to our children so that they can
become fit and confident individuals.
- All parents must ensure that children:
- maintain personal hygiene such as trimming of nails / hair and stay neat on a regular basis.
- exercise regularly.
- have a nutritionally balanced diet.
- drink enough water (either boiled or filtered) throughout the day to avoid dehydration.
- must avoid consumption of eatables from roadside vendors and kiosks.
- All children should also:
- be de-wormed at least once every year, as per the advice of the physician.
- have a dental and ophthalmic check once every year by well qualified specialists.
- be immunized regularly against prescribed infections and diseases.
- Students suffering from diseases such as chicken pox, cholera, measles, mumps, whooping cough and jaundice must observe the prescribed period of quarantine.
- Students suffering from infectious diseases such as conjunctivitis, dermatitis & scabies etc. should not be sent to school until they have fully recovered and are fit to attend
classes. The same must be certified by a qualified doctor in the form of a medical certificate to be sent to the class teacher.
- Students suffering from chronic diseases must be under continuous medical supervision of a specialist in the concerned field. A history of their illness, along with the treatment and the names of medicines and dosage prescribed by the doctor must be submitted to the class teacher / class coordinator as soon as the problem is diagnosed during the academic year.
- The school must be informed regarding any injury sustained by the child particularly if it has a lasting effect.
- Any special medication or ailment must be brought to the notice of all concerned along with supporting medical documents.
