CIRCLE TALK
“Good orators are not born, they are made.” Keeping this in view, Circle-Talk is organized every week, where students come forward to express their ideas on the given topic. They discuss various aspects of the topic and reach to the solution of their real-life issues themselves without any aid.

THANKS GIVING PRAYER
To teach the concept of humility to the students and to offer thanks to the Almighty for everything we get, the concept of Thanks giving prayer is followed by the students at the end of the day.

SMART CLASSES
Each classroom has been empowered with smart boards as worldwide there has been a strong push to get educational technology into the hands of teachers and students. Smart classes result in a completely new multi sensory learning experience for students wherein the classroom turns into lively learning platforms as the teachers can choose from a mixture of teaching tools such as the traditional chalk and blackboard coupled with digital resources as graphics, sound, animations and videos.

CLASS ASSEMBLY
Every Modernite gets equal opportunity to nurture and showcase his/her talent in front of the entire school in the class assemblies. Everyday students come up with activities like dance, drama, vocal music, instrumental music, caricature making and other art forms. They get encouragement and appreciation for their efforts. So these assemblies give a platform to the shy ones to come out of their shell and gain confidence.

SILENCE PERIOD
Everyday Silence Period of 10 minutes is observed in all the classes. Students are required to sit quietly during this time. The aim is to improve the concentration and retention amongst students.

CALLIGRAPHY COMPETITION
It is well said that our handwriting is a reflection of our personality. To inculcate the habit of writing gracefully neat and clean, calligraphy competitions for classes II to XII are conducted on the last day of every month. Students with good handwriting are selected and are awarded monthly.

FRUIT PERIOD
In a drive ‘Towards a healthy life’ to encourage the habit of fruit eating and making fruits a necessary part of our daily meals, the concept of Fruit Period has been introduced in the regular school working hours. Every student gets fruit from home to eat as a mandatory exercise and relish as the nutritious gift of nature to mankind.

MONTHLY DONATION
Every helping hand counts with this motto we encourage our students to donate monthly from their pocket money for various social causes helping them develop a sense of responsibility for the underprivileged.

QUALITY CIRCLES
With the fast development and changes that are taking place in organisations worldwide, competition is becoming fiercer day by day and quality is given utmost importance and attention. Keeping this in mind, MPS began with the concept of quality circle under the valuable guidelines of our Madam Principal. Quality circle includes a small group of students' quality control activities. This concept has been organised for class III-XII. About ten students from each standard participate under the guidance of two teachers. A contemporary topic is selected by the students and a presentation of the topic, analysis of problem, development of solution and its implementation is done by the students. A time period of 15-20 minutes is given to each circle for presenting its audio visual presentation.
