Out of total water available on earth 97.5 percent is strongly saline.Thus only 2.5 percent is fresh water and is still not available for direct human use.Most of fresh water is frozen .Remaining occurs as groundwater , in lakes,soil,atmosphere etc. Water is the backbone of almost all the ecosystems.It is required for various biochemical prosesses in our body .Thus life stands on water.

It is an ideal solution of water problem in areas with inadequate water resources and a supplement to the ground water supplies during lean season. Its installation has benefitted the school a lot as there is no shortage of water even in the summer season and the students and the staff are getting the regular and continuous supply of pure water.
